Rulesets can be attached to orders or docket templates, depending on your requirements.
Assigning a Ruleset to an Order
In cases where you may have different contracts with different clients, attaching a ruleset to an order allows those rules to apply based on which order is used.
To assign a ruleset to an order, simply edit the order and select your ruleset from the dropdown list.
Note: if you have already assigned a ruleset to the template in use, this select box will not be available.
Assigning a Ruleset to a Docket Template
Assigning a ruleset to a docket template means that it will be applied every time that docket template is used. This is useful if your organisation always operates with the same ruleset and you don't have specific customer requirements to accommodate.
From the docket template, select settings then choose the appropriate SmartDocket Ruleset.
