General settings are managed through the "Company Settings" section of Docketbook. These settings include:
- ABN
- Company logo
- Company address
- Timezone
- Default docket
Adding an ABN
The ABN that you add in your company settings will reflect on the docket your customers receive.
To add your company's ABN:
- Log into Docketbook using desktop
- From the Dashboard page, click on "Company Settings" near the top right of the page. Alternatively, you can click on the Settings cog icon near the top left
- This will open up on the General section
- Click "Add ABN" and enter your ABN number and click Continue
- Check that the correct company name is presented based on the ABN number entered
- Click Save
- This ABN will reflect on all new dockets created
- Scroll back up to the top of the page and click save
Adding a Logo
The logo that you add in your company settings will reflect on the docket your customers receive.
To add your company's logo:
- Log into Docketbook using desktop
- From the Dashboard page, click on "Company Settings" near the top right of the page. Alternatively, you can click on the Settings cog icon near the top left
- This will open up on the General section
- Next to Logo, click on "Upload image" and select the image you want to use for your logo
- This logo will reflect on all new dockets created
Adding your Company Address
The address that you add in your company settings will reflect on the docket your customers receive.
To add your company's address:
- Log into Docketbook using desktop
- From the Dashboard page, click on "Company Settings" near the top right of the page. Alternatively, you can click on the Settings cog icon near the top left
- This will open up on the General section
- Scroll down to Address Details
- You can either start typing your address in "Search Address" and then select the relevant location, otherwise you can add address details in the fields provided (Unit Number, Street Number, Street Name, Suburb, etc.)
- Scroll back up to the top of the page and click save
Adding your Timezone
When dockets are created, they are timestamped, so it is important that you have the correct timezone set for your company.
To add your company's timezone:
- Log into Docketbook using desktop
- From the Dashboard page, click on "Company Settings" near the top right of the page. Alternatively, you can click on the Settings cog icon near the top left
- This will open up on the General section
- Scroll down to Basic Details
- Click the drop-down menu under Timezone and select your timezone
- Scroll back up to the top of the page and click save
Setting your Default Docket
If you have more than one docket template, you need to select which template should be the the primary/default template. The docket template you select as the default one will be pre-selected when operators create a docket on the app.
To select the default docket template:
- Log into Docketbook using desktop
- From the Dashboard page, click on "Company Settings" near the top right of the page. Alternatively, you can click on the Settings cog icon near the top left
- This will open up on the General section
- Scroll down to Basic Details
- Click the drop-down menu under "Default Docket Template" and select the relevant template
- Scroll back up to the top of the page and click save
