The Timesheet module allows you to extract and summarise information from the time tab of multiple dockets through one easy to use interface.
In order to collect timesheet data, the time tab must be added to the Docket Template. This tab collects information in a standard way including:
- Start Time
- Finish Time
- Break time
- Travel Time
The total time is shown as a calculation on this tab as End - Start+ Travel - Break.
The timesheet module requires, at a minimum that Start and End Dates are recorded.
Displaying Timesheet Module
The Timesheet module requires a subscription to Docketbook Business.
It must also be enabled in Company Settings. Under the settings tab, General Settings, tick the Timesheets Box.
Timesheets will then appear in the menu.
Use the chevrons to navigate the week view.
Employees will be displayed as Rows with their time for each day in the columns.
Clicking on the row expands to display the docket number, date and client for each docket that makes up the timesheet data.
Using the Filters bar, you can change the date range from the default weekly view to suit your needs (e.g. Wednesday to Tuesday).
